The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office provides law enforcement services to the communities of
Gann Valley and Fort Thompson, as well as the rural areas of the county. Duties consist of
law enforcement patrol, criminal and traffic investigations, crime prevention, and the serving of
civil processes for the court.
