MEETINGS: 1st Tuesday of every month at 2:00 p.m. - Gann Valley Courthouse County Commissioners are responsible for the care and preservation of all services in Buffalo County. They approve budgets, dictate policies and procedures, administer the various county departments, adopt resolutions and ordinances, and conduct planning and zoning decisions. Buffalo County is divided into three townships. A person from each township is elected to serve as a County Commissioner by the voters in that district. Commissioners serve terms of four years each.
